2:45 - 4:30 pm
Meeting Point: The Warehouse (28 Booth Street, Ottawa)

T6 - Tour 4 : Women-led Design Projects
Sponsored by Building Equality in Architecture – Capital Region (BÉACAP), this walking tour explores two significant women-led projects that reflect the evolution of LeBreton Flats.
The tour begins at the Canadian War Museum, one of the earliest major projects in LeBreton’s revitalization, where Emmanuelle van Rutten and Carolyn Gillespie of Moriyama Teshima Architects will explore the museum’s architecture, landscape, and integration with its urban and natural surroundings.
The second half will visit Odenak, a major new mixed-use residential development helping bring people and activity back to LeBreton Flats throughout the day and into the evening, as the area evolves into a vibrant, urban community. Mouna Naoui of KPMB Architects will lead the tour on behalf of the KPMB Architects and Perkins&Will Joint Venture design team.
Together, these projects offer a view of LeBreton’s transformation spanning more than two decades – from a landmark project that helped spur its revitalization to a new development shaping its next chapter.
