Chris Glaisek

Chris Glaisek is the Chief Planning and Design Officer at Waterfront Toronto, where he is responsible for precinct planning and design in the 2,000-acre Designated Waterfront Area. Chris is a strong advocate for design excellence and strives to achieve high standards in development of new parks, buildings, streetscapes and infrastructure. Under Chris's stewardship, Waterfront Toronto has received more than 80 national and international design awards and nominations for its master plans, parks, and streetscape designs. Chris lectures regularly on the history and development of the waterfront.
