Matthew Mills, MCIP, APALA, CSLA, is a landscape architect and planner based in beautiful St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. Since 2016, he has been a principal with Mills & Wright Landscape Architecture, an award-winning practice that works throughout Atlantic Canada on projects ranging from trail systems and community master plans to school grounds, parks, and public spaces of all kinds.

At the heart of the firm’s work is a simple belief: that Atlantic Canada’s unique cultural landscapes are worth celebrating, and that the places we design should reflect the character and spirit of the communities they serve.

Matthew is a Past President of the Atlantic Provinces Association of Landscape Architects and currently serves as President of the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects.
