Michael Conway

Michael has over 20 years of experience with Hariri Pontarini Architects developing designs for large, urban mixed-use projects. With extensive knowledge of the architectural design process and project management, he is engaged in all phases of design and construction, leading client and consultant coordination, community meetings, and is involved throughout drawing preparation and tendering. He works closely with David Pontarini to develop and implement the strategic direction of the firm. Michael’s recent projects stand as testament to his versatility, spanning The Well, a mixed-use development that weaves a new district into the fabric of downtown Toronto; the King Portland Centre, an innovative commercial and residential project; Artists’ Alley, a major mixed-use development enhancing the public realm in Toronto’s urban core; the Galleria Mall redevelopment in the city’s west end; and FIVE: Condos at 5 St. Joseph, a 46-storey residential tower set above a restored heritage building. Responsible for oversight of the design and management of these and other major projects, Michael integrates his design skills and experience in the successful realization of many signature works at Hariri Pontarini Architects.
