Moderator: Matt Knapik, MArch, MEDes (Urban Design), MRAIC

Matt Knapik is a Senior Associate and project leader at O2 Planning and Design. He brings over 15 years of experience in public and private sector projects in municipal planning, economic development, and urban design. Recently, his practice has been focused on recreation master planning and rural revitalization.
Matt has taught over 25 courses in design and planning at the University of Calgary and Mount Royal University. He has moderated panels for Design Matters, Wordfest, Winter Cities, and Conferences across Canada. He co-hosted the community-focused radio show ‘Charmers Almanac’ on CJSW for seven years.
Matt lives in Calgary and loves cycling around the city with his two young daughters.
