Raymond is a Senior Urban Designer for the City of Toronto’s City Planning Division, who continually uses place-making strategies create inspiring environments that enhance the public realm Prior to joining the City, Raymond worked on master planning and urban design projects in Canada, United Kingdom, and Asia. This experience has provided him with the knowledge in designing new communities that balances functionality with aesthetics to ensure a sustainable, memorable, and successful ‘Place.’ Raymond holds a Master of Architecture in Urban Design degree from University College London (UCL) and a Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson).
