Renée Gomes

Renée Gomes is a Registered Professional Planner with over twenty years of experience leading large and complex planning and development initiatives in both the public and private sectors. She currently serves as Senior Vice President, Development, at Waterfront Toronto, where she focuses on advancing delivery of complete communities in accordance with Waterfront Toronto’s mandate of comprehensive revitalization. Renée is a lecturer in the University of Toronto’s Graduate Planning Program, a past Board Director of Evergreen, past Chair of Mission Advancement for the Urban Land Institute’s Toronto District Council, and a past Bousfield Distinguished Visitor in Planning at the University of Toronto. Her leadership in city-building initiatives across all sectors has strengthened her commitment to establishing commercially successful real estate projects that advance public policy objectives.
