Across Canada, the methods and tools for developing and delivering large-scale city building/transformative initiatives vary vastly. This session will examine lessons to be learned from each region, comment on the diversity of new and ongoing work across the country, and explore how these projects contribute to community prosperity. Members of the Council for Canadian Urbanism (CanU) representing each major region of the country (West Coast, Prairies, Ontario, Quebec and the East Coast) will be sharing examples of how change can be managed. The session will include 5-6 short presentations and conclude with an interactive discussion between the presenters and the audience.
